Questions
Is Preisly free?
Yes. Receipt scanning and basic price history are always free. Intelligence features (sale predictions, alternatives) are paid via credits you earn by scanning — or buy in-app if you'd rather skip the earning.
Do I need to make an account?
No. Preisly uses anonymous auth — you open the app and you're in. There is no sign-up form, no email, no password.
Which stores work?
Every Swiss supermarket. Barcodes work everywhere; shelf-tag reading is tuned to Migros, Coop, Denner, Aldi, Lidl, and Volg layouts.
What happens to my photos?
Price-tag and receipt photos go to our EU storage and are sent to an AI provider contractually prohibited from training on your data. You can delete every image in one tap.
Does Preisly work offline?
Scanning works offline — price-tag OCR needs a connection, but barcodes are read on-device. Everything syncs when you're back online.
Where is the data stored?
In the EU (Frankfurt). Sub-processors in the US operate under Standard Contractual Clauses. Full details in the privacy policy.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings → Delete my data. Runs immediately, cannot be undone.
